The seed company, Sakata Seed Ibérica, will be present at the next edition of Fruit Attraction in pavilion 5 stand 5D06, betting on the taste of its varieties. Thus, and under the motto "Sakata Sabor", the central day of the fair, Thursday 19th October, the seed company has created a space in its stand where a colloquium will be held entitled "Field and kitchen" where, in a relaxed way a debate will be held on the importance of flavor from the beginning to the end of the food chain. This colloquium will be attended by Martín Berasategui, one of the most distinguished chefs in the country, who will serve as gastronomic spokesman.
Agroseguro will compensate with 12.6 million to Castilla-La Mancha for damages in vinification grapes
Agroseguro will compensate with more than 75 million euros the damages in grapes of vinification caused in all the national territory, mainly by hail and frost, after the estimates of this insurer by this type of sinister. Of this amount, a total of 12.6 million euros will be paid to farmers in the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha, which accounts for 17% of the aid granted at the national level. Payments of compensation for early harvest varieties will commence on 21st September.

AVA-ASAJA estimates a million euros of losses for hailstones in 700ha of vine, olive and almond trees
The intense storm of hail that discharged in the afternoon of Wednesday, September 6th, in the region of Utiel-Requena has caused damages worth one million euros in an area of 700 hectares of cultivation of vineyard, olive and almond tree, according to the estimates of the Valencian Association of Farmers (AVA-ASAJA). The municipal terms that have been more punished have been Jaraguas, Venta del Moro, Villargordo del Cabriel and Casas del Rey.
La Mancha cooperatives predict that the harvest will be 22% lower than the last

For the Minister, the 1,400 specimens that participate in Salamaq 2017 show the genetic progress achieved by native Spanish breeds. García Tejerina, who made the remarks on the occasion of the inauguration on September 6th of Salamaq 2017, in which she was accompanied by the President of the Diputación, the Delegate of the Government in Castilla y León, and the Secretary General of Agriculture and Food, referred to this event as "a symbol of what represents agriculture and livestock not in this land Castilian and Leon but in Spain".

The Salamaq 17 Fair has consolidated its growth thanks to the confidence of the primary sector, growing in content and quality, with 532 unique exhibitors from 35 Spanish provinces of 14 Autonomous Communities, France and Portugal. The Fair, with a budget of 878,800 euros, increases the total occupied area to about 43,700 square meters.
