Citrus production in Andalusia after the end of the 2016-2017 season has exceeded 2 million tonnes, according to data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development (CAPDER). Specifically, this production amounted to 2,094,274 tonnes, 1.67% more than the estimate made in the first installment of this campaign and 12.3% higher than the harvest of the previous year.

Strawberry production has also grown, albeit slightly (2% more), although planted hectares have fallen by 7%, reaching a total of 302,500 tonnes.
