Argentina to increase its food exports to China through online sales
Alibaba Group has launched a new program that will allow Chinese consumers to buy Argentinean food in their online platform Tmall Fresh. An initiative that will increase the presence of Argentine fresh produce in the People's Republic of China and which has been the result of joint efforts by the Argentine Agency of Investment and International Trade and the Ministry of Agroindustry of the Nation.

Spain: MAPAMA and the sector work together to export cherry to the Thai market
The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA) and the cherry producing sector work together to open the Thai market to Spanish exports of this fruit. As part of this negotiation, inspectors from the Office of Development and Research for Plant Protection of the Thai Department of Agriculture inspected cherry farms in Aragon and Extremadura in July.

Citrus production in Andalusia after the end of the 2016-2017 season has exceeded 2 million tonnes, according to data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development (CAPDER). Specifically, this production amounted to 2,094,274 tonnes, 1.67% more than the estimate made in the first installment of this campaign and 12.3% higher than the harvest of the previous year.

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Rodrigo Sánchez Haro, has requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA) to estimate a budget item, to guarantee those affected by the Xylella Fastidiosa the greater agility in the process of his indemnifications.
