    José Cabascango: “For Ecuador it is of vital importance to have investors who bring innovation and technology”

    Agribusiness and fresh and processed products are two of the sectors that the Ecuadorian government is giving priority to attracting investors. In this interview, agreed on a breakfast conference with businessmen which took place in Valencia last November, Cabascango (Pro Ecuador) tells the status of economic exchange between Ecuador and Europe and gives important clues about what you need to know to invest in their country.

    Ecuador: European Parliament approves the accession to the Multiparty Trade Agreement

    By an overwhelming majority of 499 votes in favor, the European Parliament approved the Resolution November 26 Accession of Ecuador to the Multiparty Trade Agreement (ACM) that integrate Peru and Colombia with the European Union. This approval is an important step and a positive signal from the European Parliament, which also paves the way for when the legislature to decide on the contents of the Protocol on the Accession of Ecuador to ACM in the course of 2016.

    Spain contributes to the management of water resources in Latin America

    The Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and the Ministries of Agriculture and Economy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in order to foster development in the field of water resources management. Institutions should set annual joint work plans for five years.

    The Spanish fleet could return to Mauritanian fishing grounds in early December
