Peru presented in fair Expopesca an application for potential investors in aquaculture

Peru held from 5 to 7 November its most important fisheries and aquaculture fair "Expo Pesca & AcuiPerú". The Ministry of Production of Peru (PRODUCE) took advantage of his presence at the conference to present their web application free access to the National Aquaculture Cadastre, putting into operation this year.

Peru held from 5 to 7 November its most important fisheries and aquaculture fair “Expo Pesca & AcuiPerú”. The event was held at the Jockey Exhibition Center of Lima. The Ministry of Production of Peru (PRODUCE) took advantage of his presence at the conference to present their web application free access to the National Aquaculture Cadastre, putting into operation this year.

This new online tool that includes satellite images allows, for example, that investors can easily identify areas available for aquaculture and accessing information on the rights granted in this sector, acuícuola gaps with potential, current production, landings and enabling authorized health, among other topics.

Fishing Expo, an event that brings together the leading companies and institutions for the category of fisheries and aquaculture in the country and abroad, is the largest in the Latin America which is based in Peru.

For this edition, the Ministry of Production through the Directorate of Aquaculture, has a touch screen with a TV Specialist Guide that teaches the public to use the online application and enter the land aquaculture.

Importance of health care marine species

The opening ceremony of the International Fair “Expo Pesca & AcuiPerú” developed on Thursday November 5, attended on behalf of Produce, the Director General of Fisheries Extraction and production for direct human consumption, Cesar Quispe Lujan; General Manager of the organizer of the activity, Guillermo Thais; and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of the United States of America, Ricardo Pelaez.
