Good prospects of quality and price in the final stage of the olive campaign
Olive harvest forecasts in the final stretch of the campaign are optimistic, with a value-for-money ratio that the Coordinadora de Organizaciones de Agricultores y Ganaderos (COAG) calls "balanced and sustainable".

Non-producing countries conducive to world consumption of olive oil exceeds 3 million tonnes
Olive oil is a product whose global consumption is expanding, as evidenced with forecasts for the 2015/2016 campaign, aimed at more than 3 million tons, representing a growth of 6% with respect to the above, according to the International Olive Oil Council (IOOC). Increase reflected mainly in non-producing countries, which exceed 25% of the total compared with 11% representing 15 years ago. The International Fair of Olive Oil (wooe, its acronym in English), which will host IFEMA Madrid on 29th and 30th March 2017, will be the ideal place to promote this excellent news for the sector forum.

Deoleo aims at high oil production

II International Forum on Olive Oil and Table Olive
The Institute of Cajasol Studies has organized the Second International Forum on Olive Oil and Table Olives, which will be held on Tuesday, June 14, from 9:00 am., at the headquarters of the Cajasol Foundation, located in Plaza San Francisco, 1 (Sevilla). This initiative responds to the need for continued momentum of two highly dynamic sectors such as table olives, with a clear export character, and olive oil, a product in which Spain leads the ranking of world production and export.
