    Ministry and horticultural organizations study the elaboration of a Strategic Plan for the fruit of bone

    The Secretary General of Agriculture and Food, Carlos Cabanas, held a meeting with the representative organizations of the fruit and vegetable sector on October 10th, at MAPAMA headquarters, to present the program of work planned by the Department for the elaboration of a Plan Strategic for the sweet fruit sector.

    Citrosol is dressed in green at the next edition of the Fruit Attration, which takes place from 18thth to 20 October in Madrid, to present three new post-harvest products at its stand: a new coating for the transport of long-distance citrus fruits with excellent characteristics : Citrusol Sunseal® UE; a new product for citrus rot control: CitroPyr®, and an innovative kits technology that is used to perform on-site waste analysis of treated fruit, treatment broths and additive waxes: Easy kit®.

    The low production in Europe and the forecast of harvest in Catalonia auguran better campaign of fruit of nugget

    The drop in European seed fruit and the good outflow of product in stock, together with the production forecasts announced on July 20th, augur a campaign of nugget fruit in Catalonia more positive than the previous one. Thus, apple and pear production will remain in this autonomous community this season with slight variations by demarcations and a decrease in the apple forecast of 7% (284,790t) and a 1% increase for the pear (139,970t) .
