    Chile: FIA prioritizes to innovation in sustainable agriculture

    A total of 30 national initiatives call for "Research and Innovation Projects in sustainable agriculture" have been approved by the Council of FIA. The contest was aimed at the management of natural, productive and technological resources in a sustainable manner, enabling them to face the changes in the behavior of the climatic variables that affect structurally to farming, agrifood and forestry sector.

    This prize, awarded each year by a panel of 23 journalists from Europe's most important agricultural machinery publications, acknowledged the SAME Frutteto S ActiveDrive as the best tractor in the specialised category. For SAME, this prestigious accolade is further confirmation of its leadership in the vineyard and fruit orchard tractor segment.

    Let´s falling on consumer habits to increase the value of lamb meat

    The Spanish Agrifood Interprofessional Organization sheep and goats (INTEROVIC), through its coordinator, Thomas Rodriguez, highlighted in Brussels (Belgium) the importance to the sheep sector innovation and, in this sense, moved during intervention the importance of acting in consumer habits to achieve increased sales and value of lamb meat. His intervention has been framed in a forum with the most representative associations of the sheep sector in the European Union to discuss the future of the sector.

    Spain: FIMART focuses on the application of technological innovation to rural areas

    The Palacio de la Merced, home to the Council of Córdoba, welcomes from 10 to 12 November, the second edition of "Smart Meetings for Rural Innovation" FIMART 2015, an event promoted by the Provincial Consortium for Economic Development organized by Rurápolis. The technical seminars will relate to the application of innovation and technology to rural areas and, in particular, companies in the agrifood value chain. The event provides access to specialists and suppliers in areas such as the Internet of Things, Big Data applied to agriculture, sensing or unmanned flight, etc.

    Citrosol, CEPYME 2015 Technology Innovation Award

    Citrosol Valencia has won the award given by the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CEPYME) and the Spanish Federation of Autonomous (CEAT), among nearly 200 companies that have chosen these business awards. The award was presented at a ceremony presided at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid SM Philip VI.

There have been movements in the market at home and little by little companies like this, we have spent many years investing in service, quality, innovation and proximity to farmers and customers, we will gradually consolidating our positions.
