Unique Group has ten healthy proposals for the PITA cafeteria menu
Unica Group has developed ten healthy dishes proposals for the cafeteria menu of the Technological Park of Almería (PITA), continuing in its line of promoting healthy habits, just as it did with the Healthy Hotel project. These are recipes based on the "Healthy Eating Plate" concept from Harvard University, consisting of a balance of macronutrients, real food that is not processed, fresh and, whenever possible, organic.
AVA-ASAJA estimates damages in the persimmon amounting to € 10M, after the last frosts
The frosts of the past 4th and 5th of December have caused damages in the cultivation of the persimmon that, according to the first estimations of the Valencian Association of Farmers (AVA-ASAJA), ascend to the 10 million euros. From the agrarian union, a message of tranquility is sent when emphasizing that the greater part of the surface of the cultivation is insured, reason why the producers will be compensated.

Fecoam bets on new management systems to improve agricultural competitiveness
The Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of the Region of Murcia (Fecoam) participates in a European project under the name of 'Social Innovation in land management (INNOLAND)', whose objective is to develop new agricultural management systems that increase competitiveness and avoid the abandonment of arable land. This initiative is part of the National Rural Development Program, financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
The Board promotes the Water Table of Almeria, with the incorporation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment
The Junta de Andalucía has decided to promote the Almeria Water Board, with the incorporation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development and Environment and Spatial Planning. This has been reported by the new Agriculture Minister, Rodrigo Sánchez Haro, in his recent visit to the province to meet with representatives of the horticultural sector. An opportunity that has taken advantage of to advance the commissioning of said Bureau, in the second half of next July. In this way, and as highlighted by Sánchez Haro, the Andalusian Government reinforces its commitment to direct dialogue with the agricultural sector in Almeria, in order to address the challenges posed by a policy for the use of water resources in its production area.
