Anecoop receives the ‘Ilustres 2017’ award for the merit of the Casino de Agricultura

The cooperative group Anecoop has received recently, from the hand of the President of the Casino of Agriculture, Manuel Sánchez Luengo, the Business Merit Award to Anecoop, in the II Edition of the "Illustrious Awards 2017". The delivery took place in the auditorium of the Agricultural Casino itself, where the president highlighted the invaluable contribution of Anecoop in research and innovation on agri-food production and distribution.

The cooperative group Anecoop has received recently, from the hand of the President of the Casino of Agriculture, Manuel Sánchez Luengo, the Business Merit Award to Anecoop, in the II Edition of the “Illustrious Awards 2017”. The delivery took place in the auditorium of the Agricultural Casino itself, where the president highlighted the invaluable contribution of Anecoop in research and innovation on agri-food production and distribution.

The official award ceremony, which brought together more than a hundred representatives of the Valencian economic, institutional, social and cultural sector, was closed by the Director General of Agriculture, Rogelio Llanes, and also had the presence of the Delegate Registered of Agriculture of the City Council of Valencia, Consol Castillo.

The president of Anecoop, Alejandro Monzón, thanked the award and said that “it is an honor for Anecoop to receive this award that is a recognition to the 68 cooperatives and Spanish agri-food companies that make up the Anecoop Group, as well as to the 30,000 farmers that make it up”. Alejandro Monzón also congratulated the rest of the winners and thanked this proposal from the Royal Valencian Society of Agriculture. “For our part, we will continue working and defending the interests of our partner farmers”.

These awards aim to highlight the historical importance of agriculture in social development, recognizing the work of professionals, companies and institutions that work to improve the sector in its technological, social and economic aspects. Other entities awarded in this edition have been: the Farmers’ Association of La Vega, Avapace and Acequia Real del Júcar.
