Citrus production in Andalusia after the end of the 2016-2017 season has exceeded 2 million tonnes, according to data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development (CAPDER). Specifically, this production amounted to 2,094,274 tonnes, 1.67% more than the estimate made in the first installment of this campaign and 12.3% higher than the harvest of the previous year.

Spain: non-renewal of glyphosate would mean losing € 2.1bn and 5,000 jobs
According to the Socioeconomic Impact Study of Conservation Agriculture and the non-renewal of the authorization of glyphosate in Spain, prepared by the PricewaterhouseCoopers (Pwc) consultancy, to dispense with glyphosate-based herbicides would be a negative economic impact for our country. Unique Group promotes the consumption of vegetables through the project ‘Healthy Hotel’
