    • Spain: Green light from the European Commission to the National Beekeeping Plan (2017-2019)

    The Spanish Beekeeping Plan for the triennium 2017-2019 has already the endorsement of the European Commission in Brussels, following the conclusion of the 183rd meeting of the Management Committee of the Single Common Market Organisation (CMO), in which have been approved 27 aid programs beekeeping presented by the State Members. With this authorization, the Spanish beekeeping sector will receive 16,905,000 euros from EU funds during the years 2017, 2018 and 2019, divided into annual installments of 5,635,000 euros.

    Spain: leadership in the fight against illegal fishing, accredited by ISO 9001/2015 certification

    The secretary general of the Spanish Fisheries Confederation (CEPESCA), Javier Garat, stressed that Spain has become one of the leading countries in the fight against illegal fishing, both in our own waters and outside EU waters, as it has been certified by the ISO 9001/2015.     Costa Rica: a computing platform serving agricultural productivity

    The Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications of Costa Rica will invest ₡ 50 million in the creation of a National Agricultural Information System, serving producers and market Chorotega, which will help to improve productivity in the aquaculture agriculture, fisheries and of that region.
