Germany is the EU country most involved in the public consultation process on the CAP, which took place between 2th February and 2th May, with 47% of the almost 323,000 contributions. The agri-food exports between Peru and the Netherlands will be certified electronically, after signing the Peruvian Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MINAGRI), through the National Service of Agrarian Health (SENASA) an Operational Agreement for the Exchange of Electronic Certificates, with the Dutch Food Safety Authority (NVWA). Through this initiative, both countries hope to reduce costs and transaction times in exports and imports.

José Blanco claims EC aid to offset losses caused by potato blight
The Socialist MEP, José Blanco, has called on the European Commission, through a parliamentary question, to enable the necessary aid to compensate for the economic impact suffered by farmers affected by the potato pest. Electronic certification for more food security on imports of organic products from the EU
Since last Wednesday, April 19th, the implementation of a new electronic certification system has entered into force that will allow a more complete monitoring of imports of organic products, making the EU a world leader in traceability and data collection reliable information on trade in these products.
