Grupo Cajamar and ANICE sign an alliance to boost the competitiveness of the Spanish meat industry
The president of the National Association of Meat Industries of Spain (ANICE), Alberto Jiménez, and the president of Cajamar Caja Rural, Eduardo Baamonde, have signed a collaboration agreement to boost the competitiveness of the Spanish meat industry, offering financial solutions as they strengthen the internationalization, innovation, modernization and improvement of its more than 600 companies, from SMEs to large industrial groups that encompass all the activities of the meat sector chain: slaughterhouses and cutting rooms for pigs, cattle and sheep, factories of sausages and all kinds of processed, hams and Iberian products, among others.
ANICE creates a specific working group for large meat companies
The National Association of Meat Industries of Spain (ANICE) has recently created a new business group within its organization, specifically oriented towards the large meat industry. Its objective will be the analysis and channeling of the concerns and initiatives of the largest meat companies. The new Business Group has elected Paulo Soares, CEO of Campofrío for Southern Europe, as president, and Paulino Tello, CEO of Industrias Cárnicas Tello, as vicepresident.
Internationalization, the great challenge of the Spanish ham industry
Boosting the number of industries authorized to export to third countries, in a clear commitment to the internationalization of their activity, is one of the main challenges facing the sector of the ham industry, according to the meeting held in mid Of November by the Working Group of Ham Companies of the National Association of the Meat Industries of Spain (ANICE), which groups manufacturing companies from all over Spain. A meeting that served to analyze the situation of the sector and advance in the resolution of the main challenges that this industrial group must face.
