Jabugo hosts the IX Congress of the appellations of origin of Spain
The Spanish Association of Denominations of Origin (Origin Spain), celebrates its ninth Congress and General Assembly in Jabugo, on November 8th, 9th and 10th, 2017. This time the Congress is organized by the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Protected (PDO) Jabugo, for what is celebrated in its headquarters located in the emblematic El Tiro Building, in the municipality of Jabugo.

The Gastronomic Congress Andalucía Sabor will dedicate a space to the auxiliary industry
The Gastronomic Congress Andalucía Sabor, which is held in the framework of the Andalucía Sabor Fair, incorporates as a novelty in 2017 an exhibition area dedicated to the auxiliary industry in the field of gastronomy. In addition, this event, which will take place at the Palacio de Congresos de Sevilla (Fibes) from 25th to 27th September, will also feature for the first time a new space called 'Encounters with the chef', which will give participants the opportunity to have a direct contact with the speakers that make up the program of this sixth edition.
The Canarian government shows the best of its wine production in FENAVIN 2017
Canarias exhibits the excellence of its wines in FENAVIN 2017, one of the most important meeting points of the wine sector, which stands out for its ability to generate business contacts and whose last edition brings together some 17,000 buyers. The presence of the Canary Islands in this fair, which takes place in Ciudad Real from 9th to 11th May, will be strongly represented by the wines from 19 wineries and seven Regulatory Councils of the Denominations of Origin of the Archipelago, as well as the Cabildo de Tenerife, through The Vinos de Tenerife brand, which will participate in this fair under the umbrella of the Canarian Government's stand.
31st Salón de Gourmets kicks off with an emphasis on innovation, with more than 1,300 innovations
The 31st Salon de Gourmets has started after an opening day marked by the enormous diversity of participation, 1,630 exhibitors and 40,000 products, and with the focus on innovation, as has been demonstrated by the presentation of more than 1,300 product innovations Agro-food. Its inaugural day has been run by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, Isabel García Tejerina, who has traveled the 4 pavilions discovering food and drinks that "best reflect the Spanish gastronomic sector, a benchmark in the world and that every day is more fashionable, for its quality and variety".
Successful participation in the VI Day of Management of the Baena D.O.
"Success of participation" are the words that summarize the balance of the VI Conference of Management of the Denomination of Origin Baena, as has been shown with the great welcome that has had on the part of the representatives of the majority of the undertakings registered with that O.D. The objective of this meeting has been to continue making progress in communication between the Regulatory Council and those responsible for decision-making.
