    The last edition of the WOOE managed to bring together about 4,000 professionals linked to the olive sector

    The largest exclusive international fair for olive oil, the World Olive Oil Exhibition (WOOE) has closed its seventh edition with an attendance of nearly 700 production companies and almost 4,000 professionals from the olive sector, HORECA, catering, distributors, buyers, brokers and media of more than 30 nationalities (United Arab Emirates, Japan, China, United Kingdom, Italy or USA). Business, new business opportunities, debate, trends, innovation and networking have been the keys to the success of the WOOE.

    Olive exports continue to grow, with 15% more than in 2016

    Exports of olive oil maintain their growth trend, as evidenced by the market data of olive oil for July, recently published by MAPAMA and that reflectes the good commercial rite that stems from this fact. Specifically, the total marketing in the tenth month of this campaign is 1,205,300 tonnes, 4.4% higher than the average of the last four seasons and 5% over the previous season.

    Expoliva 2017 presents itself as the ideal environment for business and business contacts

    The Director General of Industries and Food Chain of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development of the Junta de Andalucía, Rosa Ríos, has presented in Madrid the XVIII International Fair of Olive Oil and Related Industries, Expoliva, to be held in Jaén From 10th to 13th May. Ríos has referred to this event as "the most important in the world dedicated to olive oil, a space that generates business and commercial relations, national and international, and the most relevant technical forum in the world where we talk about the producing sector of oil and its related companies".

    The competitiveness of the olive sector has centered the debate of the IV Dialogue Expoliva 2017

    With a little more than two weeks to the start of Expoliva, more than 200 professionals from the sector participated in the fourth and last of the Dialogues organized prior to the holding of this fair, held at the Palacio de Congresos de Jaén under the title "The sector of the elaboration of olive oil. Different models of competitiveness for a similar environment".

    World Olive Oil Exhibition 2017, endorsed as an international fair

    The World Olive Oil Exhibition (WOOE), International Meeting of Olive Oil to be held on 29th and 30th March in Ifema (Madrid) has just been recognized as an international fair by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. This official endorsement recognizes the merits of the WOOE, an event totally oriented to the international business that for six years is celebrated in Madrid and that faces the final straight of its most ambitious edition.
