AOVE’s sensory experience stars in the third Expoliva Dialogue 2017
Nearly two hundred professionals of the sector have participated in the Expoliva Dialogue "Extra virgin olive oil, an unusual experience for our senses". The Director of Industries and Agro-Food Chain of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture of the Junta de Andalucía, Rosa Isabel Rios, has inaugurated the third of these important appointments that are being made prior to the "Expoliva 2017" celebration.
The AOVE of the DO Sierra de Segura exhibits its qualities
During a trip organized for the national press, on November 15th and 16th, the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Sierra de Segura has had the opportunity to exhibit the benefits and peculiarities of its natural juice of olive and show the process of elaboration of this Extra Virgin Olive Oil (AOVE), together with a privileged natural landscape, the Sierra de Segura, and its tourist and gastronomic possibilities.

The oil that has received the most organoleptic score in the blind tasting has been presented by Finca La Torre, SLU, Bobadilla (Malaga), which has won the "Spain Food Award for Best Virgin Olive Oil Extra (EVOO) of campaign 2015 - 2016 ", awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA).

The Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) finds its position as a premium product thanks to the Second Congress of Extra Virgin Olive Oil: "The Great Discovery" organized by QVEXTRA! This second edition of the International Congress held in Toledo, Spanish gastronomic capital 2016, has been the perfect frame for the signing, between QVEXTRA! and the Consorzio di Qualitá Extravergine (CEQ), an unprecedented agreement between Spain and Italy to support quality extra virgin with all the strength and firmness demanded by the sector.
IX International Competition quality EVOO Pedro Leon Mellado
The Fair of the Olivo of Montoro Consortium announces a new edition of the competition for samples of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) 2015-2016 harvest and must come from a homogeneous batch of production at least 5,000 kg. The contest includes three categories: Fruity Green AOVEs the group, the group AOVEs Fruity Matures and the Special Award for Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil DO Montoro - Adamuz. The deadline to contest ends on April 15 at 15 hours.

The D.O.P. Priego de Córdoba has earned with his signature "Rincón de la Subbética" of mills Subbética SL, the highest score in the XV edition of the International Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil Ecological, EcoTrama Awards 2016, which organized by the Provincial de Córdoba and Ecovalia on its 25th anniversary, and the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía and the City of Pozoblanco.
