    Livestock Forum analyzes the state of animal health

    From 10 to 12 May 2016, the Gran Via de Fira de Barcelona will host Livestock Forum, an international forum to support the improvement of livestock production in an initiative that aims to provide a cross section and updated technology and processes that are carried out at present to achieve the optimization of production through animal health to ensure self-sufficiency. Livestock holding Forum fills a gap in the calendar of exhibition or congress events dedicated to livestock as it is the first forum designed to provide a comprehensive response to the challenges of this sector.

    EU: agricultural income falls more than 4%

    The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) has released the first estimates of real agricultural income per AWU in constant terms in the European Union (EU) in 2015. As for all its 28 member states has fallen an average of 4.3 %, particularly for Germany, Poland and the UK, although with greater largest increases in Croatia, Latvia and Greece, the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture indicated that it has rise for farmers by 3.8%.

    Livestock Forum 2018

    The technology applied in livestock farms is the focus of the Livestock Forum 2018. The first edition of this show, which will take place from May 8th to 11th at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía venue, will emphasize innovation for the improvement of the health and animal welfare. Thus, in Livestock Forum will be announced the latest technical advances that can be applied on farms to improve animal health and welfare with the aim of increasing the level of quality of livestock production and thus ensure the supply of protein of origin animal.
