The sector estimates an almond harvest 23% higher than the previous season
According to the second crop estimate, made at the end of June by the National Bureau of Nuts, almond production 2017/18 will be 23% higher than last year and 28% higher than the average of the last five years. Regarding the first estimate of the month of May, there was a fall of 2.1% to 56,513 tons of almond grain.
