UPA demonstration in defense of mountain olive groves
The Union of Small Farmers (UPA) will manifest on Thursday, June 30th, at the gates of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA), to claim for a top aid PAC of 150,000 euros and allocate the part the remainder of the budget to save the mountain olive groves and less productive. Indeed, on July 1st is the deadline given by Brussels to the Ministry and Autonomous Communities to revise the fate of coupled support CAP, which in the opinion of this organization, "are the only ones that could save the olive grove most needed."

The Government asks serenity and tranquility over the Brexit

Spain: Concern and uncertainty in the fruit and vegetable sector by the ‘yes’ to the Brexit
The 'Yes' by citizenship on leaving the United Kingdom of the European Union (Brexit) has generated a climate of concern and uncertainty among the Spanish fruit and vegetable sector, since this country is the third largest market for Spanish exports of fruit and fresh vegetables, with 1.1 million tons, according to the Spanish Federation of Producers and Exporters of Fruits, vegetables, Flowers and live Plants (FEPEX). A figure which represents 11.4% of total exports in 2015, worth 1,614 million euros.
Spain: Green light from the European Commission to the National Beekeeping Plan (2017-2019)
The Spanish Beekeeping Plan for the triennium 2017-2019 has already the endorsement of the European Commission in Brussels, following the conclusion of the 183rd meeting of the Management Committee of the Single Common Market Organisation (CMO), in which have been approved 27 aid programs beekeeping presented by the State Members. With this authorization, the Spanish beekeeping sector will receive 16,905,000 euros from EU funds during the years 2017, 2018 and 2019, divided into annual installments of 5,635,000 euros.
