Once again, the Fendt brand has obtained the most outstanding place in the Image Barometer of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) 2016, with 60 points in the Agronomic Engineering category. According to a statement from the DLG, "Fendt, with the same exact number of points as the previous year, got the 1st position for the 17th consecutive time."

The Council of Ministers has recently approved, at the proposal of Minister Isabel García Tejerina, the appointment of Esperanza de Orellana Moraleda, as the new Director General for Rural Development and Forest Policy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA) and Miguel Angel Riesgo Pablo, as President of the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA).

About 20,000 immigrants will benefit from the employment agreement between AVA-ASAJA and the Embassy of Ecuador
Ecuadorian ambassador Miguel Calahorrano and the president of the agrarian organization AVA-ASAJA, Cristóbal Aguado, have signed a collaboration agreement to facilitate training in agrarian matters and employment in this sector of the Ecuadorian population residing in the Valencian Community. This agreement is estimated to benefit some 20,000 immigrants of the 41,000 from that country currently living in Valencia.
