Rafael Guitián, new corporate financial director of Planasa

The new CFO has more than 20 years of experience in different financial functions (CFO, FP & A Director …), operations and has even served as deputy general manager.

Guitián Fernández de Córdoba will be part of the executive committee of the Planasa group, chaired by Alexandre Darbonne (CEO) to continue with the financial transformation that the group has experienced in the last year and a half.

On the incorporation of the new financial director of Planasa, Alexandre Darbonne has acknowledged that he has “the full conviction that Rafael will know how to give continuity to this wonderful work developed previously by Francisco Jiménez Sirvent and successfully face the important challenges we have before us not only from the financial perspective if not also from the executive and business. ”

At the academic level, Rafael Guitián Fernández de Córdoba holds a PhD in Business Administration (specialty in Finance) from the Complutense University of Madrid and has a Master’s Degree in Finance from the same institution.

Professionally, the new corporate CFO accumulates more than 20 years of experience in different financial functions (CFO, FP & A Director, etc.), Operations and even Deputy General Management. In the last eight years, he completed the process of an investee of a private equity fund, from the investment to the subsequent sale to a multinational in the sector, in which he has been working for the last two years until his incorporation into Planasa. Previously, he has worked in national businesses with an international presence such as Vitaldent, in Spanish subsidiaries of parent companies listed on NASDAQ and other medium-sized companies.
