Freshuelva “harvest” an excellent reception in its promotional campaign of the internal consumption of berries
The National Association of Strawberry Producers and Exporters of Huelva, Freshuelva, an association integrated in FEPEX, is carrying out a campaign to boost the national consumption of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries of the province, in large areas of Madrid and Barcelona, which is having a great acceptance between the users and consumers.
The promotional action, which also includes the Diputación Provincial de Huelva, takes place in different Carrefour supermarkets in Madrid and Barcelona, in which the public is tasting more than 500 kilos of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries
The objective of this campaign is to make known the quality of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries produced in the province of Huelva, as well as its abundant healthy and nutritious qualities.
With this initiative, Freshuelva continues in its eagerness to expand the market ways of the red fruits onubenses and, in this sense, the national market is one of the main pending subjects for these berries, less known than the strawberry, and that they present many possibilities for both consumption and marketing.
Through this campaign, the consumption of berries is encouraged, which, apart from being notable for its flavor and the enormous culinary qualities they present, have very advantageous qualities for health, such as improving circulation or preventing cardiovascular diseases.
This initiative is part of the agreement through which the Diputación de Huelva shows its support for a strategic sector for the economy of the province of Huelva, with which the provincial institution collaborates on a continuous basis, both in commercial actions and promotion and assistance to fairs such as Fruit Logistics and Fruit Attraction.
The distribution of raspberries, blueberries and blackberries from Huelva in a large shopping center like Carrefour, in the two main capitals of our country supposes, in the opinion of the vice president of the Diputación and deputy responsible for the Office Huelva Company, José Luis Ramos “a great incentive to consumption, in addition to a powerful campaign that enhances the image of our products and the Huelva brand in the national territory”. In this sense, he assured that he is confident that this action will have an excellent reception and will contribute “to the fact that these red fruits produced in the province, until now less known, also become a benchmark of quality and excellence as strawberries Huelva, recognized all over the world”.
