At WALKIA JCB’s facilities in Alcalá de Henares a presentation and reception of the equipment supplied to all those responsible for the Machinery Parks, as well as the Machinery Management team. Subsequently the equipment was delivered to the different Tragsa bases, where a personalized training was given to the operators and technicians of the same.
The supply of 14 JCB machines consisted of 5 25-ton JCB JS 240 Chain Excavators, 6 JCB 3CX Backhoe Loaders, 2 JCB 86C Mid-Excavators, and a 5 tonne JCB 48Z Mini Excavator
All equipment has the latest generation JCB LIVELINK system that uses the latest satellite technology to help remotely control and manage the machine anywhere in the world by web, email or mobile phone. Thus, for companies with large fleets of equipment, it can radically improve the efficiency and safety of equipment.
The five-tonne JCB JS240 24-tonne chain excavator has been designed with exceptional strength, productivity, efficiency, comfort, safety and ease of maintenance. A rotating X-frame with a closed rectangular section increases the resistance and reduces the stresses. At the same time, this 24 tonne excavator incorporates a 188hp Isuzu engine that offers a fuel saving compared to previous models. The JS240 excavators offer greater productivity than their more direct rivals thanks to the enormous starting force. The JCB JS240 boom and boom are made of high-strength steel, with one-piece lining plates and internal reinforcement plates to increase durability
The 6 JCB 3CX Turbo Lux AEC Backhoe Loaders are part of the world’s number one range, one of every two backhoe loaders in the world is manufactured by JCB. The JCB 3CX backhoe comes with a powerful 92HP JCB EcoMax engine, achieving significant fuel savings, lower emissions and noise levels. These equipment have managed to reduce NOX emissions by 90%, which creates a substantially cleaner and safer environment, without detriment to fuel consumption, engine power or visibility.
The new generation JCB mini excavators have the experience of almost 50 years manufacturing excavators. The two 8-ton JCB 86C units and the 5-ton JCB 48Z unit are designed to be robust, strong and durable, without compromising performance. The safety of JCB equipment is unique in the market by equipping booths with ROPS and FOGS systems. In addition, the exclusive 2GO system ensures that the hydraulic system can only be used in a safe locking position by means of two separate locks that completely isolate the hydraulic functions to avoid unwanted movements. On the other hand, the hydraulic system can only be activated when the operator is seated with the seat belt in place. The excellent front visibility thanks to the windshield’s 70/30 split provides a clear view of the right front caterpillar that allows easy and safe trenching and maneuverability. The equipment delivered to Tragsa comes with pressure relief valves from the hoses on rocker and boom.
