Vineyard: Fungicide Pyrus Arysta LifeScience Iberia
The Pazo Rubianes in Arousa, in Pontevedra was the place chosen by Arysta LifeScience Iberia for the presentation of the fungicide Pyrus in Galicia. About thirty people, including technicians, oenologists and viticulturists, attended the technical conference, presented by Antolín Bustos, commercial delegate in the area of Arysta LifeScience Iberia, which was attended by José Buendía, commercial director of Arysta LifeScience Iberia.
The visit to the manor began with a tour of its beautiful gardens, Centennial abundant vegetation, for a stop in one of the plots of vineyards that will be treated with Pyrus, which serve as a reference for farmers and experts in the area.
By showing the plot, Antolin Bustos explained the main characteristics of Pyrus, Botrytis specialist for systemic action, translaminar and contact fungicide steam effect.
Pyrus is formulated with 40% pyrimethanil having a preventive and curative effect which inhibits the secretion of the laccase enzyme paralyzing, thereby, sporulation.
After visiting the land of vineyards, attendees witnessed the presentation of Dr. Maria Teresa Martinez Soria, Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of La Rioja.
The paper dealt with studies on the influence on winemaking treated Pyrus Pyrimethanil) grapes and demonstration of how this antibotrítico fungicide positively affects wine quality and prevents contamination of the musts with the laccase enzyme.
Then several tasting wines produced in the manor itself and typical paired with local cheeses led by Ignacio Costoya, prestigious Galician somellier were made. And the day ended with a lunch of typical Galician dishes (octopus, fair, caldeiro …), prepared by a renowned Galician store.
