The T7.225 AC. of New Holland, best tractor in Spain in FIMA 2018
For the second consecutive edition, the International Fair of Agricultural Machinery has received the “Tractor of Spain” award, one of the most awaited awards by professionals in the sector. A recognition of national prestige that, in the same way as FIMA, aims to encourage the development of Spanish agriculture. On this occasion, the concrete model that has been raised with this recognition is the New Holland T7.225 AC. The professional jury has valued “its great versatility, its efficiency, the renewal of its engine and its harmonious design”.
The general director of Productions and Agricultural Markets of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fernando Miranda, has been responsible for awarding the award. In the same category, the rest of the winners were:
• The Tractor of Spain 2018 of more than 201 HP: Fendt 1050 Vario
• The Tractor of Spain 2018 Up to 100 HP: Landini Rex 4 100 GT
The jury of the contest was composed of a prestigious group of agronomists from the Technical School of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. In addition, farmers themselves and some specialized media have been able to cast their vote through the official page specifically enabled by the organization of the contest.
In the category of “special tractors”, among which were included fruit tractors, vineyards, forestry or machines that by their characteristics are considered special, the award-winning has been the Kubota M5101 WQ Advance. Finally, in the third category, which awards the “best polyvalent team”, the professional jury chose the wheel loader, Claas Torion 535.
The most voted brand on the website has been John Deere, while Arbos has stood out as the revelation mark of the year
The celebration of this event within the framework of FIMA 2018 demonstrates, once again, the confidence of the companies and organizations of the agricultural sector in the show, which this year is receiving a spectacular reception from the more than two hundred thousand visitors and the 1,550 exhibiting companies from the five continents.
