More than 400 exhibitors at the 44th Iberflora

The International Fair of Plants and Flowers, Landscaping, Gardening, Technology and DIY, Iberflora, which will hold its next edition from 30 September to 2 October at Feria de Valencia, will feature more than 400 exhibitors, mostly from the Spanish producing areas, but also with a growing international participation, with companies in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands or the United States.

Direct exhibitors of this edition of Iberflora will be 240 and 160 indirect exhibitors International exhibitors came mostly from Germany, Belgium, USA, Slovenia, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Portugal. The net exhibition area will be around 11,000 square meters.

The next edition of Iberflora, that will be number 44, it will also feature an extensive program of activities, organized mainly in three areas. On the one hand, the Asfplant Forum to be held in Hall 1 Level 3 and is organized by the Professional Association of Flowers, Plants and Horticultural Technology of the Valencian Community will be organized. Among the main days of this forum are the following: “Problems of the new threats facing ornamental crops” Xylella fastidiosa “; “Getting certified fruit varieties through research agreement IVIA-Asfplant” and “Benefits that provide green space to human health”.

IberfloraOn the other hand, in Hall 2 of Feria Valencia it has organized the space called “Green Agora”, which encompasses the entire exhibition project around landscaping and chaired by a large central square where the “First International Conference will take place Landscaping and Gardening Iberflora “.

Keynote presentations will be on September 30 “Arboriculture Urbana. Complex approaches, complex proposals “, organized by the Spanish Association of Arboriculture (AEA).

On October 1, a Technical Conference on Plant Protection in the current scenario of plant protection of the public areas and new techniques in phytosanitary ornamental trees will be analyzed will be held. And on October 2, the day entitled “International Integration Strategies Green in the city will be held. Benefits they bring greenery to the citizen “.

Each day also held roundtables to discuss and debate on issues involving innovation (products) or new (management) in the different channels of the green sector.

Finally the “Round Florists” monographic Iberflora area dedicated to the florist and attractions including workshops and demonstrations thanks to the collaboration of different Spanish floral schools will be organized.

The sector of flowers and live plants, grouped in associations formed by FEPEX and Catalonia, Catalonia, Galicia, Valencia, Aragon, Andalusia and the Canary Islands, co-organized together with Feria Valencia, Iberflora, which has become the benchmark level national flower of the producing sector and Spanish plants, and one of the most prominent in the international arena, being one of the longest running shows in Europe, this year celebrating its 44th edition.
