France beats a new record at Fruit Attraction
Business France organizes the French Fruit and Vegetable Pavilion for another year at the eleventh edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION, which will take place at the IFEMA fairgrounds from October 22-24. The pavilion will have the participation of 200 French professionals, of which 113 have their own stand, which represents about 10% of new exhibiting companies.
The surface of the pavilion will be 2,000 square meters (+ 20% vs 2018) and will be located at the entrance of Hall 4.
French professionals are strongly committed to FRUIT ATTRACTION and for this 2019 edition the French Pavilion will once again remain the largest foreign representation. The pavilion will be structured in several areas. The participating sectors are fruit and vegetable wholesalers, five regions (Hauts-de-France, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Center Val-de-Loire, Occitanie), two port authorities (port of Sète and port of Dunkirk), the wholesale market of Perpignan (Saint-Charles Export), the interprofessional association of fruits and vegetables from France (Interfel) and a trade union (Union of Haut-Poitou melon producers).

It should be noted that France represents the fourth largest producer of fresh fruit and vegetables in the EU with 6.6 million tons. With an average of 324,000 tons exported to Spain, France is its first supplier country. In turn, France imports about 2,200,000 tons of Spanish fruits and vegetables on average and represents the second destination country for these exports, just behind Germany.
On the other hand, in collaboration with several associations of fruit and vegetable wholesalers from different Mercas, Business France offers a stand with personalized agenda of BtoB meetings between French and Spanish professionals. Finally, the French pavilion will feature animations and networking cocktail.
