European Strawberry is promoted in France
The European campaign “Europe Strawberries: Vive la Roja” has given its go-ahead in France with an official presentation to the main means of specialized and general communication. The popular chef Chloé Saada promotes the campaign “Vive la Roja” in the Gallic country.
The purpose of the campaign is to promote the consumption of European strawberries between the French consumer, highlighting for this, the attributes of quality, sustainability and traceability that only provide the strawberries grown in the Old Continent and under the highest quality standards.
France is one of the key countries for this crop, in fact, is the second largest market for exports of Spanish strawberries, behind Germany. Just last year France bought from Spain, 53,100 tons of this product, while production rose during the previous year, to 53,000 tonnes.
The presentation of the campaign has been carried out by the popular French TV chef Chloé Saada, who also popularized the trend of cupcakes in the country. This prescriptive be responsible for promoting this versatile fruit for a period of three years (2015-2018), through different culinary events that help explain the versatility of this product in the kitchen.
After the press conference, the prescriptive held a cooking show for all attendees where he has developed a recipe for cupcakes strawberries with vanilla, with which he wanted to pay tribute to the cutter.
