The public company ChemChina proposed to buy the Swiss agrochemical company Syngenta by 43,000 million, the largest operation confirmed a Chinese firm abroad.

In fact, in a statement it is reported that the board of directors unanimously approved Syngenta purchases to be made in cash. The chemical giant ChemChina wants to impose in this way as one of the largest producers of plant protection in the world.

Interestingly, the US Monsanto offered last year and 47,000 million to acquire Syngenta, but the Swiss group refused. Now, you could try again waiting that national regulators give their green light to the Sino-Swiss operation.

In the  international expansion, ChemChina was done in 2015 with the Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli and producer of machines for the German plastics industry KraussMaffei.
