ANUGA, Mecca of Spanish food sector
Alongside the trade fair SIAL in Paris, ANUGA, which takes places from 10-14 October in Cologne (Germany), is the biennial event of the Spanish agrifood companies. Hand ICEX Spain Export and Investment, total 243 Spanish companies will integrate the Spanish pavilion, some 16 companies more than in the 2013 edition.
On surface, ANUGA is the one with largest exposure of all dedicated to the food sector (284,000 meters square). In this edition, the fair will surpass the 6,800 exhibitors from over 100 countries. In its previous edition, it received more than 155,000 trade visitors from 187 countries.
For purely professional character, in this exhibition brings together the representatives of the most important entities in the world food industry. ANUGA is an ideal platform for the presentation and understanding of developments in the sector, new trends and market developments.

What brings Germany to Spain
Exports of food products, beverages and Spanish wines to Germany amounted in the first half of 2015 2.565 million euros, an increase of 8.3% over the same period in 2014.
Germany with 1.897 million euros, is held in the first half of this year as the second destination of our total agricultural exports, behind France, and the first for our horticultural products. This figure represents more than 15% increase over the first half of 2014.
