Cider Brut de Asturias has broken records at Christmas

Asturias Cider Brut is a promotional action of foam Designation of Origin (PDO) which aims to increase consumption, especially during the Christmas period with its traditional family celebrations, friends and coworkers.

The event is promoted by the pomarina marks (The Piper), MS (The Governor) and Poma Aurea (Sidra Trabanco), sponsored by the Regulatory Council PDO Cider of Asturias and collaboration Otea (Association of Hotel and Tourism Asturias) .

Protected Designation of Origin Sidra de Asturias has 23 wineries and 274 growers and 563 hectares recorded and audited, with apple orchards with 22 varieties authorized in the Regulations of the Designation of Origin.

This Control Board is attached to the Ministry of Rural Development and Natural Resources of Asturias organ, and is the body responsible for certifying that a cider qualifies as “Sidra de Asturias” Protected Designation of Origin.
