Argentina and Brazil, strategic partners in food and agriculture

During the bilateral tour, the Argentine Secretary of Agriculture raised the historical importance it represents for both countries to pursue a productive and business plan together, to negotiate with the European Union and trade with Asia.
In that sense, and in line with the agenda of the national government, the agrarian responsible stressed that to exploit regional potential is critical work in collaboration and not in competition, so you may have a greater presence in global markets.
For his part, Secretary of Agroindustrial Markets said that there is strong interest in developing a strategic map market jointly with Brazil, highlighting the importance of united shown abroad.
The Ministry of International Relations of Agribusiness of Brazil, highlighted the great opportunities to develop a unified agenda and address the demand from China, India and Russia as both countries share similar strategies in promoting investment and trade in the region.
Both delegations agreed to develop agendas on health, access to international markets, biotechnology, codex and dairy products, with the axis position in added value for products and ser-vices as well as in territorial development.
In addition, there were meetings with the authorities of CAMEX, Reu-ne camera that seven ministries and establishes foreign trade policies; and the CNA, in which the need for increased dialogue between the private sectors of both countries were made.
