“Good nutrition is the foundation for growth and development of healthy children,” stated the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Isabel García Tejerina, while visiting 5th grade students of “Amador de los Rios” Colegio de Madrid, who have participated in a workshop making recipes run by chef Ramon Freixa, organized by the Inter-Way (INLAC), because of the celebration of World Day milk at school, in which students from 5th grade of “Amador de los Rios” Colegio de Madrid have participated in a workshop making recipes run by chef Ramon Freixa, organized by the Inter-Way (INLAC).

According to the minister stressed, children are the best receivers and communicators of the importance of consuming a product like milk also can be taken in many ways, always appealing, fun and healthy.

In this sense, García Tejerina has stressed that the Ministry not only supports the celebration of World Day milk at school, but also working on a national strategy consumption of dairy products in schools, with a budget of more than 7 million euros, with which you want to reach more than one million children.
