The research of new varieties of berries, as well as the opportunities offered by new markets such as those of the countries of Asia or the Middle East, will be two of the thematic axes on which the technical content of the 4th International Congress of Red Fruits will focus. presented today at Casa Colón, the same stage that will host the next June 20 and 21.
The president of Freshuelva, Alberto Garrocho, announced that the inaugural conference of the Congress will be carried out by the prestigious and prestigious economist, collaborator with different television programs, José María O’Kean, who will tackle the new challenges and the new opportunities of the sector of the berries.

The territorial delegate of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Board, Pedro Pascual Hernandez, stressed the importance of this congress “for what it means for the sector and because it puts the whole range of our quality products in the best showcase”, after who was convinced of the “usefulness” of a meeting in which there is a transfer of knowledge and experience between countries “very useful”.
Finally, the mayor of Huelva, Gabriel Cruz, was “proud” that Congress reaches the fourth edition and “continue to show that Huelva is competent to host these events”, after which he thanked Freshuelva the courage to do the first and sponsors and institutions their commitment to the sector.
