Spanish meat sector announces the first awards

Awards .the National Association of Meat Industries of Spain (ANICE) recognize the work of individuals, companies and institutions in various fields, in favor of the meat sector and socio-economic relevance. The announcement of these awards is open, and any person or institution related to the sector can nominate candidates for the different awards established. They establish five categories: "business trajectory", "Friends of the Flesh", "Jose Flores Innovation", "Food and Health" and "Sustainability and Environment".

The National Association of Meat Industries of Spain (ANICE) Awards recognize the work of individuals, companies and institutions in various fields, in favor of the meat sector and socio-economic relevance. The announcement of these awards is open, and any person or institution related to the sector can nominate candidates for the different awards established. They establish five categories: “business trajectory”, “Friends of the Flesh”, “Jose Flores Innovation”, “Food and Health” and “Sustainability and Environment”.

ANICE convenes its Awards Meat Sector, with the main business organization of the Spanish meat industry want to recognize the work of different personalities, companies and institutions that have helped to bring this sector into the position of socioeconomic relevance of today both nationally and internationally.

For ANICE Awards have been established five categories:

The prize for the “business trajectory” is given to those entrepreneurs in the meat sector have particularly noted for his long career, which has resulted in a successful business project, prestige inside and outside the sector, and has thus contributed to its valuation as a dynamic and relevant sector.

The award “Friends of the Flesh” recognize those individuals or institutions that have contributed to improve the professional image of the meat and its position in society and national or international markets activity.

The “Jose Flores innovation” award recognizes those individuals, companies and institutions that have opted for the R + D + i as a competitiveness tool inexcusable for the meat industry, and / or have developed new products, technologies or processes.

The “Food and Health” prize is a category that clearly define to that personality, company or institution in these areas has been noted for his defense of meat products and their role in the gastronomy and food and has transmitted his passion for these to Throughout his professional career.

The “Sustainability and Environment” award to those individuals, businesses or institutions that have made an outstanding contribution to meat value chain more sustainable and aligned with the criteria of responsibility that society demands are granted.

The announcement of these awards is open, and any person or institution related to the sector can nominate candidates for the different awards established. Those interested should send nominations to the headquarters of the National Association of Meat Industries of Spain (C / General Rodrigo, 6 – Ground 12-28003 – Madrid) or by e-mail to the following address: premiosanice@anice.es until January 15, 2016.

The 2016 Jury Awards ANICE composed of representatives of the Association, other industry organizations, media and public or private organizations. It will announce the decision from February 1, 2016, and awards will be presented in Madrid, coinciding with the celebration of the General Assembly ANICE.
