Mercamadrid will host again the delivery of the IV AGRO Women’s Awards
The AGRO Women’s Awards celebrate their award ceremony for the fourth consecutive year in the city of Madrid, on March 16, the month in which, coinciding with Women’s Day, Siete Agromarketing and eComercio Agrario, launch the campaign in social networks #YoSoyMujerAGRO.
Siete Agromarketing ,as a founding entity of the AGRO Women’s Project, continues its work to provide visibility to agro-professional women together with eComercio Agrario, that they work to create an open platform for communication and action, where voices of all political colors, ideological, confessional, social and business sectors of the agri-food sector are heard and have the same purpose, to empower agro-professional and rural women.
Everything ready for the IV AGRO Women’s Awards
Both entities are finalizing the preparations for the delivery of the IV AGRO Women’s Awards (#PremiosMujerAGRO) that will focus, once again, on women agro-professionals, companies or men who work for equality and recognition in the sector.
The place chosen for the delivery of these awards on March 16 is the Mercamadrid Auditorium, a meeting and representation space, with great social food influence.
Before the awards ceremony, will take place, the gathering “The Importance of Equality Plans in the agri-food sector” with the participation of representatives of the different links in the food chain. The SDGs rely on equality and parity as one of their priority objectives. And at the business level they are beginning to be a reality, but we must continue working to consolidate as non-cyclical lines of work but as part of the entity’s own structure.

Join the #YoSoyMujerAgro movement!
As we told at the beginning, the awards will be in March, the Women’s Month. This year we resumed, within the actions of visibility and empowerment with the AGRO Woman Project, the campaign in social networks #YoSoyMujerAGRO, which will be in force from March 1 until the same day of the awards celebration. During the celebration of the awards, the video resulting from said campaign will be broadcast on social networks #YoSoyMujerAGRO.
This campaign on social networks aims to take advantage of the framework of World Women’s Day, on March 8, to claim the figure of agro-professional and rural women who are dedicated to this sector, starting with production, livestock, fishing, distribution, industry assistant, marketing as well as directive, technical, engineering or commercial departments.
This campaign is launched with the support of the Asociación para la Promoción del Consumo de Frutas y Hortalizas “5 al Día”
