The presentation ceremony ended with a dance by the entire Festival organizing team.
Huercasa Country Festival 2019
The Texan Hayes Carll, the artist with more exponential growth within the country rock and the Americana in the last months, and the Quique González from Madrid, one of the main references of the Americana in Spanish of the last decades, will be the headliners of the sixth edition of the Huercasa Country Festival 2019, which will be held from July 5 to 7 in the Segovian town of Riaza.
The festival will open on Friday the 5th, Ashley Campbell, who will offer in Riaza her only concert in Europe. Composer, singer and excellent banjista, key figure in the last tours of his legendary father, Glenn Campbell, now walks alone, with a personality full of talent.
Friday’s program will continue, from Nashville and with a unique concert in Spain, with Will Hoge. The storm deprived us of its music two years ago, but now it returns, wrapped by a spectacular band and its last disc, ‘My american dream’, under the arm.
The closing of Friday corresponds to Quique González, who will return to the stages at the Huercasa Country Festival after almost two years without playing. A unique concert, at a festival he fell in love with last year as a spectator, in which he will enhance his American repertoire and in which he will be accompanied by an exclusive band, which includes the guitarist and producer Álex Muñoz.
The day of Saturday will offer four concerts, beginning with the 2019 version of the HCF All-Stars Band, led by Jeff Spinoza and integrated by Francisco Simón, Guillermo Berlanga, Pau Álvarez, Manuel Bagüés and Ezequiel Navas. His proposal, a classic repertoire and a lot of guests and surprises.
The night will continue with Chuck Mead & The Grassy Knoll Boys. Mead, a native of Kansas, is a country singer with a heart that beats rock and roll and has been at the forefront of what is known as Americana for most of the past 25 years.
The third band on stage will be The Long Ryders, a benchmark of American roots music, which comes to the festival with its classic quartet composition and new album, ‘Psychedelic Country Soul’.
It will close the concerts in the Field of the Delights Hayes Carll. After placing his last four albums at number 1 on the American Airplay list, he has been playing No1 on the Americana Radio Album Chart for weeks and will present us exclusively on Riaza his sixth album, ‘What It Is’.
Ticketea by Eventbrite is available for sale on Friday, at the price of 40 euros, and on Saturday (45 euros). You can also buy a subscription for the two days, with a price of 70 euros.
Tickets and physical installments will soon be on sale in all the establishments of Cervezas La Virgen (Madrid), Bar Santana (Segovia) and Riaza Town Hall and Camping de Riaza. On July 5th and 6th, the same prices will be applied in all sales channels as at the box office, 45 euros for the entrance of Friday, 50 euros for the Saturday and 80 euros for the subscription.
As in previous editions, next to the main concerts, on the football field, Huercasa Country Festival maintains the activities that make it unique in the national scene.
Activities for children and families, country & western dance and a wide gastronomic offer, which this year incorporates a number of food trucks help to shape the atmosphere of a festival different to all.
In order to maintain that family spirit, Huercasa offers one more year free admission to all children under 16, provided that they are accompanied by an adult.
Huercasa, horticultural company located in the Segovian town of Sanchonuño, organizes and sponsors Huercasa Country Festival with the aim of spreading a lifestyle close to its values, betting on sustainability and differentiating character.
Huercasa Country Festival maintains that commitment to be different, fundamentally for its three essential parameters: healthy living, rural world and music of North American roots, especially country music, which symbolizes life in the field worldwide. These are the aces of a festival that has already become the best in Spain in its genre.
