Great expectation at the opening of the third edition of Infoagro Exhibition
The third edition of the international fair of intensive production and auxiliary industry held in Almeria was opened yesterday by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, along with Gabriel Amat, mayor of Roquetas de Mar, municipality that This fair is hosted by Javier Aureliano García, President of the Diputación de Almería and Elías Bendodo, Minister of the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía, among other local, provincial, regional and state authorities.

The sector received with great expectation the first day of Infoagro Exhibition, far exceeding the number of professional visitors from previous editions and the stands of the exhibiting companies received the visit of thousands of farmers and professionals from the sector who wanted to know, firsthand, its products and services, materializing the great pillar of this fair, as is being the epicenter of the business of the agricultural producer. There are many exhibiting companies that congratulated the Organization of the fair for the large influx of professionals, both national and international, which yesterday received the Palacio de Congresos de Aguadulce during this first day of the exhibition.
Parallel to the activity and business that took place in the stands of the exhibiting companies, and in their zeal for the transfer of knowledge to a sector increasingly interested in new techniques and technologies for cultivation, during the morning of the first day of the fair of the intensive production and of the auxiliary industry, a block of conferences was held in which the challenges of the sector regarding the shortage of water resources were raised, as well as possible solutions and technologies were contributed for the attainment of an efficient use of water to ensure the survival of the sector, while in the afternoon, those attending the conference room were able to find out which R & D & I projects are being carried out by research centers such as the University of Almería in collaboration with companies in the sector.
In addition, in the B2B area, meetings began, of the 300 scheduled for the three days of the fair, between Almeria companies and international companies in order to carry out transactions that boost the intensive production sector and the auxiliary industry. . The activity in Infoagro Exhibition continues today in its second day, in which the 500 exhibitors of the sector will continue attending professional visitors who wish to know their activity and start business.
