With this technology package, and according to empirical data, the demand for AdBlue can be reduced up to 50% over the previous model. The Deutz four-cylinder engine and 4.04 liter common-rail injection and SCR technology Fendt accredited, combined with the filter with catalytic coating (CSF, English “coated soot filter”) to provide saving solution fuel efficient and high technical level where passive regeneration is performed without an additional injection in the exhaust phase.

MARS project
The firm commitment of Fendt new technologies is evident in the research being carried out in collaboration with the University of Ulm, on the use of autonomous robots in the agricultural industry, through the project called MARS (Mobile Agricultural Robot Swarms).
With this project, sponsored by the European Union under the FP7, AGCO/Fendt develops small robotic units that are controlled during sowing using a cloud-based e regardless of location solution program, since access to the system is through a mobile device.
The MARS application to plan and manage planting at any time. The place spreading of each grain sowing accurately documented and stored in the cloud, so that further maintenance work can be performed accurately and preserving resources
This procedure helps make a continuous and thrifty management of nutrients and plant protection products, as well as to tap the potential of increased profits. Thanks to its electrical operation or by battery, as well as its low weight and autonomous operation, planting can be done even in cases where traditional agriculture does not work properly due to lighting conditions or soil or as a result of noise emission.
