Dialogue of Commissioner Hogan and the Minister of Agriculture in European key with citizens
The Congress Palace Toledo will host on Friday, October 14th, a meeting between citizens and the European Commissioner for Agriculture, Phil Hogan, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment functions, Isabel García Tejerina, and the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development, Francisco Martínez Arroyo. An activity that will serve to initiate a dialogue face to face with representatives of institutions and citizens on issues of the European Union that really matter to them and that are relevant to their present and future.
More than 300 people will participate in this conversation, which will take place from 12.00 am., and in which Europe wants to hear their voices and concerns in order to understand firsthand what the concerns are and offer citizens a real value added.
Given its importance in the economy of Castilla-La Mancha, issues of agricultura and rural áreas will play a leading role in this dialogue
It also will discuss employment, youth guarantee that since 2013 has allowed finding employment practices or qualified training to almost 277 000 young people, or the opportunities that the investment plan for the European Union can offer both large Spanish companies as SMEs.
In this citizen dialogue, distinguished partners intervene under the moderation of Sandra Sutherland, program director of Spanish Television Agroesfera, excellent connoisseur of rural areas and experienced journalist. This meeting will be divided into two thematic blocks at the end of which will be reserved for questions:
The future of rural areas: common agricultural policy, rural economy, the role of women in rural areas (the debate is taking place as pre-World Day of rural women)
The Future of Europe: employment, investment, role of the EU to the great challenges facing Europe

Extensive participation streaming and Social Networks
This dialogue will be broadcast via webstreaming, and also through Facebook and Twitter. If you want to pose a question to the participants, you can do with the Twitter hashtag #EUDialogues. During the dialogue it will be forwarded to the moderator of the event the questions that come through this social network. Responses shall be given to all questions, although have not been directly exposed during the celebration of the activity.
