Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Mañero, Professor of Plant Physiology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universidad CEU San Pablo (Madrid). Gutiérrez has emphasized the importance of microorganisms in the rhizosphere, explaining to the public how the microorganisms act in the soil and their interaction with the plant.
The doctor. Gutiérrez, who is a recognized expert, has put in value the benefits of using biostimulants and microorganisms applied to crops. “The plants and microorganisms are related and have a common language”, has affected, showing that microorganisms not only grow stronger plants, but also enable the concentration of beneficial compounds.
Josep Rufat Lamarca, PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Lleida and a Master’s Degree from the University of California and a researcher on the Efficient Use of Water Program at IRTA in Lleida, has addressed in this forum “From Experts to Experts” the situation of intensive and super intensive olive groves, offering some solutions in water management and fertilization.
