Agritechnica 2017: BKT inaugurates its multi-subject campaign “A long way together”
The tire brand BKT has inaugurated in Agritechnica 2017 its new multi-subject campaign “A long way together” (“a long way together”), which gathers the witness of the previous campaign and transmits effectively the essence of the BKT brand in the different sectors of tire employment.
“A long way”, because Indian society has come a long way to develop and produce increasingly innovative and reliable tires in terms of efficiency, resistance, long life, optimal performance and cost optimization. “Together”, because this result has been possible only by doing it together, in continuous and passionate collaboration between BKT, which projects and performs them, together with the distributors who propose the different products all over the world and listen to the opinions of the users, as well as of those who every day work literally “on BKT tires”, it does not matter if driving an agricultural tractor, a dump truck or a container manipulator.
Addressing users, the visual message of the new campaign is expressed in seven different settings, which clearly identify the different target audiences, all built around the main tire, and where the horizon becomes an agricultural field, a mine, a port or a logistics warehouse, to allow everyone to recognize their own daily work environment, always and in any case in a serene atmosphere, transmitting a positive vision of the future.
“The new advertising campaign of BKT will be disseminated in the magazines, in the fairgrounds and in the advertising posters, as well as in the organization of BKT events” – affirms Lucia Salmaso, CEO of BKT Europe – and will surely help us to consolidate the communication with our customers”. The new slogan raises the company slogan ‘Growing Together’, where the word ‘together’ (together) means above all sharing, not only know-how, innovation and experiences in the field, but also values and objectives. We want our customers to understand perfectly the importance of the tire in exalting the potential of their environment and therefore in increasing profitability. BKT is at your side in the work of each day, to write together success stories for our future”.
New Research and Development Center
After thirty years of experience in the Off-Highway tire market, BKT has presented, also in the framework of the last edition of Agritechnica, its new Research and Development Center of Bhuj, consolidating the change of gear already adopted in these last years. The “Suresh Poddar Innovation Hub” Center has been named in honor of Suresh, the oldest of the Poddar brothers, and is located inside a 25-hectare area called “Mahabirprasad Poddar Knowledge Center” (MPKC), in memory from the esteemed founding elder of BKT, Mahabirprasad Poddar.
Designed to organize spaces with an absolutely functional vision for those who work, the new Research and Development center includes the best range of machines and software available, led by an expert team of engineers, chemists and technicians who will take care of everything that is related to the technological development of BKT tires: from the design of a new tire to the creation of new mixtures to improve the performance of the product, as well as the implementation of processes to obtain an efficient personalized production of high-end tires.
The research will focus on the individuation of new materials, to be able to turn more and more towards sustainable elements that respect more the natural environment; In addition, all application possibilities relating to nanotechnologies, in particular to the creation of new components, can be addressed.
The new Center is assisted by a modern field of tests that allows to thoroughly test the performance of the tires, simulating the actual conditions of application, in order to provide detailed data and analysis, as well as to continuously improve the quality of the products and the ability to adapt to different Off-Highway applications.
