Specialty joins the Agrievolution international summit

Eighteen guest speakers will participate in different round tables of the Agrievolution international summit, which will take place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture of Madrid. This will be the first day, October 1, because on day 2, attendees of this international summit and participants in Demoagro Specialty will coincide in the latter. This day, there will be different activities focused on showing attendees the latest technologies applied to special crops.

Agrievolution will also focus on these types of crops

This year’s summit will focus innovatively on the mechanization of high-value crops (olive oil, wine, vegetables and fresh fruits) that have traditionally been considered as a niche market but have been increased in acreage and production in the last 10 years. This upward trend is not on the radar of OECD reports. The need for specialized equipment to adapt to this type of plantation, together with the business opportunity, has made that summit put the focus on this type of crops and that the specialized talks go in this direction. «It is a unique opportunity for Agrievolution to take place in our country, one of the major producers of this type of crops. Spain is already leading the production of some of these products internationally, and we must follow that path and improve our global position thanks to an innovative, quality and sustainable machinery, ”says Ignacio Ruiz.

From theory to practice: from Madrid to Valencia

In this way, and after lecturing on issues such as mechanization of special crops or how some countries have verified the economic improvement of the sector thanks to their investment in machinery, attendees will move to Turís, in Valencia, on October 2. There you can see first hand what was exposed on the first day. More than 30 exhibitors of leading brands worldwide will offer attendees the opportunity to see and test the specific machinery for this type of crops.
