Luxury speakers at the III National Agro-Women Agro-Professional Business Forum “More than equality”
The city of Cordoba will host next Tuesday, June 11, the third edition of the National Business Agro Forum: Mujeres Agroprofesionales 2019 #MujerAgro, under the title “More than equality”. This forum, organized by Siete Agromarketing and eComercio Agrario, was born with the aim of promoting, dialoguing and raising awareness about the role of professional women in the agri-food sector, speaking of equal opportunities in jobs, administrations, companies, cooperatives, etc. .
This forum has managed to position itself as an information reference and a space for networking, in terms of entrepreneurship, innovation and latest trends, preceded by the success of its previous editions (Seville, 2017 and Toledo 2018), where more than 200 representatives of the administration, public and private companies, cooperatives and union organizations were represented.
The meeting is part of the line of events Business Agro de Siete Agromarketing and eComercio Agrario, with the aim of creating a transversal forum, where women and men give visibility to the work developed by them.
Opening
The presentation of the day will come hand in hand with Gissele Falcón, general director of Siete Agromarketing, communication agency that promotes the initiative, and Francisco de la Torre, Head of the Agrarian Service of Cajasur. Subsequently, Lourdes Arroyo, Program Advisor of the Provincial Center of Cordoba of the Andalusian Institute for Women and Ana Maria Corredera Quintana, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Junta de Andalucía, will carry out the institutional inauguration.
Four discussion tables
The dynamics will revolve around four discussion tables where issues of maximum interest and relevance will be addressed from different perspectives.
The first of the dialogue tables that will be held under the title: “Woman and olive grove as talent, visibility and empowerment” will be formed by María Miró Arias, Manager 1948 Oleum; Francisca García, General Secretary. D.O.P Priego de Córdoba; Mari Carmen Baena Calvo, President of the Cooperativa Almazara de Luque and partner of AMCAE-Andalucía; Elena López Cano, Producer and Responsible for olive growing in Fademur Córdoba and Blanca Torrent, General Director of Aceitunas Torrent.
The second panel will address the importance of “Women as a social and digital transformer”, in which they will participate: Carmen Quintero Morales, General Secretary of COAG Córdoba; Rosa Gallardo, Director of the Higher Technical School of Agronomists and Forests at the University of Córdoba; Ana Maldonado, Marketing Manager at Hispatec Analytics and Gema Giménez Hernández, Executive Director Iberia – Food Department San Telmo.
The event is moderated at all times by communication experts, Ana I. Sánchez, agroalimentary journalist and Communication Cooperatives Agro – Food of Andalusia and Carlos Pizá de Silva, Journalist Corresponsal Económico en Andalucía of El Confidencial.
After a break for coffee and networking, which will be enlivened by the composer, guitarist and singer Pilu Velver, the third of the tables will be developed under the theme “Communication and Agri-Food Journalism with a gender perspective” and will feature interventions by Lourdes Zuriaga , President of APAE (Asociación Periodistas Agroalimentarios de España); Nerea Lerchundi, Director of Communication Cooperatives Agro – alimentary of Spain; and María José Bayo, Journalist and Adviser of Radio Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA-Canal Sur) and President in Andalucía of the International Business Women Association (IBWomen).
To conclude, and before giving way to the conclusions and the Spanish wine, the fourth and last debate table will take place: “How to implement equality measures in companies and institutions”, where they will participate: Juan José Lunar Villarreal, Director of Human Resources of Covap; Mercedes Mª Sánchez, Head of the Agrarian Technical Unit of Jaén, Cajasur; Marta Ereza Díaz, Head of the Gender Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Junta de Andalucía and Isabel Gimeno Pérez, Head of the Rural Women Area, Subdirectorate G. for the Promotion of Rural Areas. D.G. of Rural Development, Innovation and Forestry Policy (MAPAMA), with the closing act of this day of debate.
