Traxion Optimall, the latest generation Vredestein tire, novelty at FIMA Zaragoza
The tire company Apollo Vredestein will present its latest generation Traxion Optimall tire at the next edition of FIMA Zaragoza. With VF technology (Very High Flexion) and designed for the upper segment of tractors, it has no equal in terms of traction, fuel efficiency and productivity, substantially reducing the total cost of operation. Another novelty that Vredestein will present next February in Zaragoza will be the expansion of its Traxion Harvest range, steering tires for harvesters.
The introduction of the Traxion Optimall was preceded by intensive tests carried out by both Vredestein and the renowned German institute DLG, which confirmed the exceptional performance of this new VF tire
The Traxion Optimall is the only VF tire that allows a lower inflation pressure in the field and guarantees a footprint up to 15% larger compared to other VF and 25% compared to IF tires (increased flex), currently in the market.
DLG discovered that a tractor with more than 400 hp (equipped with Traxion Optimall) that performs tilling activities experienced 5.5% less slippage than the same tractor equipped with IF tires of another premium brand (see dlg.org to obtain the complete results). It has also been calculated that this corresponds to 7% less fuel consumption and a corresponding gain in productivity.
F + Techology
The Traxion Optimall makes full use of Vredestein’s F + technology, which combines very high flexibility with exceptional stability.

The highly flexible side wall consists of a bending point exceeded. A high-tech rubber compound in the shoulder area supports the housing at low pressure for extreme flexing. Together, these characteristics allow the Traxion Optimall to be used with up to 25% less pressure in the field than other VF tires currently on the market and even 40% compared to IF versions. The F + technology guarantees a high degree of stability through a bead stabilizer. This specially designed rigid top heel area is compatible with the stability of the Traxion Optimall even at low pressure. The result is 10% more radial stiffness compared to other VF tires, which ensures safe handling during heavy road transport.

The Traxion Optimall incorporates the Traxion Tread concept, a design that has been proven by the success of Traxion + and TraxionXXL. It combines a unique compound and a high rubber content to guarantee 30% better wear resistance and, therefore, a 30% longer life.
The new tire will be available from February 2018 on sizes VF 710/75 R 42 184D, VF 650/65 R 34 NRO 170D and VF 650/60 R 34 NRO 168D. More sizes will be added later in 2018
