Frutas E. Sánchez to expand its international logistics platform in Mercamadrid
The company Frutas E. Sánchez, about to turn 60 in the sector of production, export and import of horticultural products, has announced its project to expand its facilities in Mercamadrid, with its new international logistics platform. Those responsible for the company have confirmed that the new facility will have an area of 10,500 m2 spread over three floors.
The building will serve as the headquarters of the logistics operations that the company develops. In addition, it will be equipped with 5,000 m2 of cold storage rooms. The central offices and the commercial department will be located in another 1000 m2 within the new construction.

Ernesto Sánchez, commercial director of the company, affirms that they have made this decision “due to the growth that we have been experiencing in the last years”. “The construction of this new logistics platform will allow us to centralize the volume of operations, make the distribution as fast and efficient as possible” and above all – it has been highlighted – “that our customers can have a great variety of products.”
Mercamadrid has been chosen by the company hortofrutícola in order to reduce the costs and the waiting time of its consumers during the distribution of goods
“Many of our clients are growing,” says Sanchez, so “we are obliged to grow with them and accompany them.” The forecast is that the new international logistics platform of Frutas E. Sánchez will be completed by November 2018 and immediately afterwards operational.
With the construction of its new logistics platform as the main novelty, the company will be present one more year in the next edition of Fruit Attraction (H10D07) – to be held between 18 and 20 October in IFEMA. A fair that from the beginning has had the support of Frutas E. Sánchez.
