ANSEMAT participates in a project to promote the use of intelligent agriculture technologies
The National Association of Agricultural, Forestry and Green Space Machinery (ANSEMAT) participates together with four European partners (the Agricultural University of Athens (Greece), Mad About Pandas (Germany), Inosens (Serbia) and Innovative Initiatives (Spain)) in the European innovation project GATES, acronym of “Applying GAming TEchnologies for training professionals in Smart Farming”.
The main objective of this initiative, which is supported by the HORIZON 2020 Research and Innovation Program of the European Union, is to develop a training platform based on serious play in order to train professionals throughout the agricultural value chain in the use of intelligent agriculture technologies (FTS), thus enabling the deployment of all its economic and environmental potential in European agriculture.
ANSEMAT will play a relevant role in the validation and evaluation phase of the game, in which it will carry out a series of workshops with farmers and representatives of SFT companies
The GATES gaming platform will be marketed as a white label application one or two years after the end of the project (June 2019). This application can be customized according to the needs of payment customers (SFT companies, universities and extension services / agricultural consultants).
It will function as an independent or complementary tool to traditional training methods, covering a wide range of agricultural environments to meet the needs of different professionals in the SFT value chain
