Tobacco farmers around the world celebrate their annual meeting

The International Association of Producers of Tobacco address the main challenges facing the industry with special emphasis on the economic consequences of tobacco plain packaging faces. The ITGA XXX General Assembly held in Madrid from 18 to 20 October.

The International Association of Producers of Tobacco (ITGA, for its acronym in English) in collaboration with the Tobacco Growers Federation of Spain and Tobacco Interprofessional Organization of Spain (OITAB) will offer a press conference on Monday 19 October to explain to the media the themes of ITGA XXX General Assembly, to be held in Madrid from 18 to 20 October.
In the press conference, he will announce the situation of growing tobacco in the world and in Spain, as well as the main challenges facing the sector from an international perspective with an emphasis on plain packaging of tobacco and consequences for farmers.
