Huercasa Country Festival 2018 will celebrate its fifth edition in Segovia
The Huercasa Country Festival will celebrate its fifth edition, the most ambitious to date on June 6, 7 and 8 in Riaza (Segovia). In addition, this year, on Sunday 8, the festival moves to the Plaza Mayor with Country Line Dance activities and free concerts by The Wild Horses & Friends and Max Tyler.
All children under 16 years old will have free access to the festival.
The festival will begin on July 6 with Jaime Wyatt, the great hope of the Californian Country, with songs inspired by the imprudent decisions of life and its consequences. Later, it will be the time of The Cadillac Three, and as closing to the first day, the singer and composer of country-blues, John Hiatt, along with The Goners with the King of Slydeco Sonny Landreth.
Saturday will open the poster Stephanie Quayle, the new female voice of the country world. It will be followed by The Band Of Heathens, from Austin, American roots music in its purest expression. Steve Earle & The Dukes and his tribute to outlaw country will be responsible for leading the poster and closing the performances on the Las Delicias football field.
This Festival has become the most important event of Americana Music in Spain.
The Country Line Dance activities that have been carried out so successfully in the previous editions of the festival, are extended to the last day with the participation of some of the best choreographers and instructors of the national panorama.
In this edition, and one more year, children’s activities will be maintained. Since the Festival has among its objectives to defend its family character with the purpose of promoting music among the youngest and allowing parents to enjoy the event while their children are in the children’s area.
